Simply said, the church of Christ that meets in Jordan is a collection of redeemed saints that have put their faith in the Savior of the world, Jesus the Christ.We strive to follow the command of the Lord in Matthew 28:18 when He said, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy |
| Spirit.”We endeavor to follow only the authority given through the inspiration of God (2 Timothy 3:16). It is our prayer that everything we do in word or deed is done in the name of the Lord (Colossians 3:17). |
The church here meets for worship and Bible study three times a week. We offer stimulating Bible classes for all ages on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings (Acts 17:11). We conduct a special children’s praise service at 10 a.m. on Sunday mornings before our regularly scheduled Bible classes. We also engage in an outreach program to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ in the local community (Acts 6:7). Aside from our local preaching, the church here supports several preachers in Canada and abroad (Mark 16:15).
